fuckyeahtattoos: Like a heart beat a clock ticks, life is a ticking time bomb.. we never know when our clock (heart) may stop. This is a piece that i drew myself and then got as a tattoo in Tallahassee, Fl by Mike Tuten owner of Fine Art For Life. I got this tattoo because time and life are so precious and you don’t know when your time is going to end so you should live your life to the fullest while you still have time. This is my fourth Tattoo by Mike and he has been wonderful and i wouldn’t choose anyone else to tattoo my body.

fuckyeahtattoos: The tattoo on my torso is an Alice in Wonderland collage by Brandon Holt of Uptown Tattoo in Minneapolis, MN. He finished it in two three-hour sessions. It is the only tattoo that has made me cry tears of pain.  I absolutely love it. He took the original illustrations and added so much depth and detail. I am amazed by the “layers”. My half-sleeve is by Tom Strom of the same shop. I like to think of it as “cloud animals”. I told Tom that I wanted it to look organic, and I didn’t want outlines. He came up with this and it is exactly what I had hoped for. People ask me all the time if it’s henna ;) I will probably add more reds and purples in a few years. I have 13 tattoos and Brandon is my absolute favorite tattoo artist. He is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. He seems genuinely exited to draw up your tattoo and it feels really good to know that your artist is really into what they’re doing.
